Independent referral website
Brentwood Retaining Walls is not a contractor or an engineer. We don't design, inspect, repair or build retaining walls. Requests are passed to independent contractors who set their own prices and warranties. We may be compensated for referrals.

Nothing on this site is engineering, structural, geotechnical or legal advice, and nothing here says a wall is safe, unsafe or compliant. A retaining wall holds back soil; its design and condition need to be judged by a licensed contractor or engineer who has seen the site.
About our cost figures
Cost ranges on this site are national figures taken from the published guides listed below, last checked in October 2026. Worked examples are arithmetic from those averages. They are not quotes and not Brentwood-specific prices. Your contractor sets the final price after looking at the site.
About codes and rules
Where we mention permits or height limits, we quote or link the official source and say when it was checked. Rules change and local amendments exist; the City and your contractor have the final word. Where we couldn't verify a rule, we say so rather than state it.
